Permissions
Permissions define what a user can do inside the platform. They control access to features such as creating shows, editing clips, managing other users, or performing administrative actions.
⚠️ Important: A user without permissions can log in but will not be able to create or manage anything. Permissions must be assigned manually after inviting a new user.
Who Can Assign Permissions?
Only users who already have the User Edit permission can assign or change permissions for others.
If you do not have this permission, you will not see the Permissions menu option. This ensures that only authorized team members can manage access rights and keep the account secure.
When Permissions Are Assigned
Permissions are not granted automatically when a new user is invited.
An admin invites the new user.
The user receives an email, logs in, and appears in the Users list.
A user with User Edit permission must then assign the appropriate permissions in the Permissions section.
Until permissions are given, the new user will have no rights and won’t be able to perform any actions on the platform.
How to Assign Permissions
Open the User section
Click on Permissions button in the upper right corner
This page displays all users and their current permissions.
Find the user(s)
Locate the user(s) in the list.
Enable the required permissions
Check the boxes next to the actions the user should be allowed to perform.
Example: Enable User Edit if you want this user to also manage other users.
