🔐 Login & Access

How do I log in to MOVEX | Live Shopping?
Go to the login page, enter your email and password, and click Sign In. Use "Remember Me" to stay logged in on your device.

I forgot my password. What should I do?
Click Forgot password? on the login screen, enter your email, and follow the instructions in the recovery email.

How do I create a new account?
On the login page, click Register, fill in your personal/company details, and follow the instructions in the confirmation email.


🔐 Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

How can I enable 2FA?
This feature must be activated by the OSP team. Contact support to enable it for your company.


📺 Shows & Streaming

How do I create a live show?
Go to New Show in the dashboard and fill out the required show details.

Can I stream a pre-recorded show as if it’s live?
Yes, upload your video in the Pre-recorded Live Show section, set the schedule, and confirm.

Can I stream to multiple platforms at once?
Yes. Use the Multistreaming feature to add up to 3 platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Twitch).


🎥 Streaming Tools

What streaming methods are supported?
You can use:

  • The MOVEX Live Shopping PWA, or

  • External broadcasting software (OBS, vMix, Wirecast) using RTMPS.

What are the technical requirements for external streaming?
RTMPS, H.264 codec, resolution up to 1080p, max bitrate 8.5 Mbps, AAC audio.


🖼️ Embedding & Integration

How do I embed a show into my website?
Copy the embed code from the show’s detail page and paste it into your website’s HTML.

Does embedding work with Shopify?
Shopify doesn’t allow iframe embedding. Use the Picture-in-Picture Player or FAB widget instead.

Can I add live shows to product detail pages (PDP)?
Yes. Use the Live Show Highlights snippet to display featured products from shows.


🎬 Clips & Media Library

What are Clips in MOVEX | Live Shopping?
Clips are short, interactive video segments that can include shoppable products.

How do I add Clips to my site?
First, include Clips in a Media Library, then embed the library using the generated code snippet.

Can I edit or delete a Clip?
Yes, go to the Clips section, open the action menu (three dots), and choose Edit or Delete.


🗂️ Media Library & Playlists

What is the difference between a Media Library and a Playlist?
A Media Library is a container that holds multiple Playlists. Playlists are curated selections of Shows or Clips that can be filtered, tagged, and embedded.

Can I show only upcoming or live shows in a playlist?
Yes. When creating or editing a playlist, you can select the show state (Live, Upcoming, Ended) to control what appears.


⏮️ Post-Show & VOD Features

Can I edit product info after a show ends?
Yes. You can edit product names, links, and highlight timestamps even for ended shows.

Will product highlights appear in the VOD automatically?
Yes. Highlight timestamps during the live show are recorded and synced to the replay (VOD) for a seamless viewer experience.


📊 Analytics

How can I view performance data for my shows?
Navigate to the Analytics section. You can view high-level KPIs or detailed show/product analytics.

Can I export my analytics?
Yes. You can export analytics as PDF or CSV.


📈 Understanding Analytics

What are 'Qualified' vs 'Non-Qualified' viewers?

  • Qualified viewers watched at least 10 seconds of your content.

  • Non-qualified viewers left before that, indicating low engagement.

How do I measure product interest during a show?
Check the Item Tab in analytics for click counts per product. Export reports to PDF or CSV for deeper analysis.


👥 Users & Permissions

How do I invite a new user?
Admins can go to Users > Invite User, fill in the required details, and send the invite.

A user can log in but can’t do anything. Why?
Permissions must be manually assigned after inviting the user. Go to Users > Permissions to do so.


🛠️ Integrations & APIs

What types of integrations does MOVEX | Live Shopping support?
You can integrate with:

  • JavaScript snippets

  • RESTful APIs

  • Mobile SDK/WebView

Where is the API documentation?

🎛️ Moderation

Can I moderate chat during a show?
Yes, moderators can manage chat, highlight products, and end the show via the Moderation tab.

What happens when a user sends a message with profanity?
The message is hidden from all viewers except the sender using the built-in profanity blacklist.

Can I moderate the chat after the show ends?
Yes. Use Post-Show Chat Moderation to delete messages, unpin comments, or edit replies.


🧑‍💻 Moderation Best Practices

Can viewers see if a message was deleted?
No. Deleted messages are completely removed from the viewer chat history.

Can I block someone permanently?
Yes. Once a user is blocked during a live show, they won’t be able to interact again unless manually unblocked.


🧪 Troubleshooting & Common Errors

I uploaded a pre-recorded video but see a bitrate error. What now?
Your video bitrate likely exceeds 10 Mbps. You need to re-encode the file to stay within the limit.

My embedded player doesn’t load. What could be wrong?
Make sure your CMS allows iframe or JavaScript embeds. Shopify, for example, requires alternate methods like Picture-in-Picture or FAB.


🎯 Floating Action Button (FAB)

What is the Floating Action Button (FAB)?
It’s a widget that appears on your site during live shows. Add the FAB embed code to your site to activate it.

When does the FAB widget appear on my site?
The FAB widget appears when a show is Live. It checks every 30 seconds if a show is starting soon or currently streaming.

Can I control where the FAB appears?
Yes. You can place the embed code on any webpage where you want the FAB widget to show.

Can I start a show minimized?
Yes. Enable Start show in minimized mode during show creation. The show will launch in mini-player view.

Why is the FAB not showing on my website?

There are several common reasons why the FAB might not appear. It could be unpublished, misconfigured, not embedded correctly, or blocked by cookies/consent. See the questions below to pinpoint the exact issue.

Is the FAB widget published?

Go to your Show details in the MOVEX | Live Shopping Backoffice and make sure the "Add to FAB" toggle is enabled. If it’s off, the FAB won’t render on your site.

Is the FAB embed script included on the page?

To verify:

  1. Open your website in a browser.

  2. Open Developer ToolsNetwork tab.

  3. Refresh the page and filter for "FAB".

If nothing shows, the script isn’t there or didn’t run. Make sure the correct embed snippet is added to your page or via a tag manager (e.g., GTM).

How can I test if the FAB is working now?

After making the above checks:

  1. Clear your cache and reload the page.

  2. Open Developer Tools → Network tab → look for "FAB".

  3. If you see requests related to the FAB, it’s loading.

  4. If not, go back and verify each step again.
