Moderation

Moderation is an essential aspect of managing live shopping shows in the MOVEX | Live Shopping system. Moderators have the responsibility of ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for both the hosts and the audience.

This section provides information on how to moderate a show effectively.

How to moderate your live chat during your broadcast

As a moderator, you have the ability to manage various aspects of the live broadcast. These functionalities are available for shows with the status “Live" and can be accessed via the “Live” section of the MOVEX | Live Shopping show table.

To access the moderation options, navigate to the live show page and click on the "Moderate" tab located at the right top of the screen or via the show action menu by clicking on the three dots. Within this tab, you will find several moderation features:

As a moderator, your chat messages will be displayed with your public nickname, which can be set in your user account.

To send a message in the chat, simply type your message in the chat window and press the Enter key. Your message will appear in the chat within seconds under your public nickname, highlighted in your chosen company colors. This will inform the audience that the message is from you and not another audience member.

End a show

While using external software (See section Streaming via Broadcasting Solutions): A show is only ended when a moderator clicks on “End show” in the top right corner of the moderation screen.

Profanity blacklist

To maintain a respectful environment, MOVEX | Live Shopping has implemented a profanity blacklist. Any words on this list will be automatically blocked. During a live show, if a viewer types any of the blacklisted words, the message will be visible to the sender but not to other viewers.
